    Ac?

So I have no AC. I understand this is a very common problem, as all the AC units I find are toast and all the E30s I see have their windows down on 100+ days.

New compressors are like $750+. Old ones never seem to work. What's the best way to get a decent, working compressor? AC is not an option here, it's 95 outside already and it's only going to get hotter in the coming months.

Compressors can be had cheaper from rockauto.com

Are you sure the compressor is the issue?

Also, fyi, its 115 here today and its only going to get hotter.

Well, it's not activating. I can only assume it's the compressor. Everything seems to be connected. Those $200 compressors on Rock Auto seem to fit the bill, thanks!

If it doesn't have any refrigerant in the system it won't "activate", so you could just have a leak. ;)

Perhaps you should find someone in your area who can help you diagnose and repair your current AC.

Did you check your aux fan? If that's not spinning, the air wont get cold.
