Ok, so the Bentley says to replace any coil with a primary resistance higher than .5 ohms and a secondary resistance of 5000 ohms.
I have several old coils with a primary of .8 ohms and a secondary that ranges from 6000-8000 ohms.
I'm wondering how much this higher resistance really affects performance and if replacement is as necessary as the Bentley makes it seem to be. Reason is that I'm having a no-start issue and one of the things I noticed while doing a spark test is that my spark seems a little weak.
Thoughts, opinions?
