I found a conti-tech belt locally. I hope I can use the brand new tensioner that I got from bavauto. Do you see any problem with that? I don't like the way this belt sings.

I would use the conti belt with the new tensioner. Tight is OK, but too tight makes them sing and break.

When you say the new tensioner, I hope you mean the one I have on right now with the Goodyear belt. I asked bavauto and they claim that this tensioner is the one they use with the conti belt and the Goodyear. I am not sure why the heck they sell the good year if the make noise. Either way, specify Continental.

New Continental belt made things perfect. DON'T USE A GOODYEAR BELT!!!! I hope bavauto stop selling the damn things.
