    Filler neck rubber boot

    Anyone know the part number to the rubber boot like thing that goes around your gas filler neck?

        no, thats not the right part, The part right inside the fuel door that's like 4"x4" that goes around the outside of the fuel filler neck. I guess drops of gasoline over a period of time detiorated the rubber. I cant find anything on real OEM or I must be looking under the wrong thing.

          That's because everybody looks in the wrong section. It's in "Bodywork " in the ETk.

          The boot is "Rubber Cover" PN 51 71 1 884 358. It's prety cheap from the dealer, I've replaced mine on 2 cars.

            Would this cause a splash of gasoline to spill to the ground after a fill up? Cause thats happening on my car. It coming from behind a plastic shield in the passenger rear wheel well.
