Are you talking about the service ports?

Not sure what you mean by "convert" but you can get cheap r12>134a adapters that will work with your 134a gauges. The style of port has no bearing on the gas you decide to charge your system with.

if you put 134a in a r12 system it will F it all up. and vice versa.

but r12 is SOOO much more expensive than 134a so why would you want to use r12?

Depends. Anyway, if you were paying attention that's not the OP's intention.

The e30 HVAC system was designed to use r12. Pressures will be appropriate for system components. Head pressure will be lower as will vent temps.

                  YES! It's just a fitting.

rather keep them and use it later.

an R12 can will not screw into a hose designed for R134a. I'm sure you can buy an adapter or something of the sort though.

LMG some one had extra cases of r12 just sitting around somewhere and was selling off the excess on craigslist.

I'll put money on it that you have 12 cans of counterfeit r12 that could be filled with anything from duracool, to r134a or propane/isobutane.

You can use r134 conversion service ports to use with your gauges but a set of r12 hoses is usually only $20 or so but if you don't know that the refrigerant your charging with is genuine and uncontaminated then your pressures could be all over the map and you won't be able to properly charge or diagnose the system in the future. ;)
