What are the tri-strip motorsport color codes?

I called Korman and they wanted $1200 for a motorsport painted valve cover plus a core charge. Turnermotorsport only does limited runs of 20, they are powder coated and they aren't planning on doing anymore anytime soon. I know a talented paint guy who could probably do it for me if I knew the colors for the three stripes and the thickness. I did a google search on a bunch of different things and couldn't come across anything to point me in the right direction. And is the white just a pearl white, or any other glossy pure white, or is that also a specific kind of white.

    Thanks
    Jared

Actually... I'm guessing he could probably color match the colors from my ///M6 emblem.

One thing here, that has been buggin me, cause I've also been thinking of doing this. Do these paint colours come in high heat resistant ? ... Cause I don't want to do it then the damn thing stars flaking... and makes me want to take a hammer to the car :P

I doubt the BMW color codes are, but you can get the Unicode and/or Pantone stuff in high heat resistent I'm sure. I'll call my body shop guy today to find out.

I know a half dozen paint shops that powder coat and probably wouldnt charge that much to powder coat a valve cover if you take it off of your car and bring to them, yeah the smallest amount of paint that you usually can get is a pint but they might work with you. Powder coat is tough and impervious to heat. You could check eastwood.com for prices on powdercoat paint and their color selection. good luck it would great on an M20b25 valve cover if it only had three stripes

This is kinda what I'm looking for:

You know someone who can do that for an OK price?

Dude, I think u and I r on the same wave length  :D .

BTW, powder coating isn't impervious to heat... I know... although u get a type of ceramic coating (they call it Power Coat over here) that could probably withstand the heat, I'm sure it will cause they say it can be used on ur pistons.
