What is the quickest easiest way to flush the power steering system?

I have black fluid and am having some steering issues. I want to flush out the fluid and see if it turns black quickly again. What is the quickest way to flush it out? Disconnect hoses from filter?

I don't know that it is the quickest, but I think serial dilution is the easiest. To accomplish that suck the fluid from the reservoir and refill. Then, with the engine idling, cycle the steering from lock to lock serveral times. Shut off the engine and repeat until you have gone through 2qt of ATF.

Ok, I did that with about 3/4 of a qt that I had around the house. I will get more and repeat the process. Thanks.

Once you have the system flushed out, at every oil change suck the fluid out of the reservoir and refill. That will help lots in keeping the fluid clean.
