    Double Checking Fuel Injector Clips

So I labeled each of my injector clips as I was disconnecting them from the car but was exactly off by one (I mislabeled one that actually attached to the t-stat housing) which shifted everything and left my last injector clip unlabeled.

I'm pretty sure they were all just shifted over by 1 and reconnected accordingly but is there a safe way to check that each injector is hooked up to the clip its supposed to be on so that they don't fire in an incorrect order? I fear if they do that spells disaster for my engine :-x

and I realize that the shorter length clips are by injectors 3 and 4, whereas 1&2 and 5&6 have longer cables to reach points further down the fuel rail, so the way I hooked them up reflects that.

The injectors are fired as two banks of three. Bank 1 is cylinders 1, 3, & 5 and Bank 2 is cylinders 2, 4, & 6. The engine may not run right is the injectors are mis-connected, but no harm will come to the engine. The only way to tell what bank an injector is on is to use an ohmmeter between that bank's drive pin at the DME connector and the ground pin of the injector connector (with all injectors disconnected). The power pin of all of the injector connectors are tied together.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
