    leaky gas tank

well, my tank was leaking and I am cheap. With that said, I bought a product for $55 called por 15 gas tank repair. My resto buddies have used the por 15 paint for frames with good results so I figured it was worth a try. It was a very time consuming process, although very easy. basically it created a grey fuel proof bladder in my tank, bonding to the metal. After 4 days (so far) I have not had a leak. generally I am pleased with the product, especially compared to a new tank's cost. worth a try if you are a cheap ass like myself. I got mine from the POR-15 store, through ebay. the main store charges the same price, but $20 for shipping. Ebay was $5. if you use this plan on you car being out for at least 6 days for the curing process.

MGer's love anything POR. A lot of guys coat the entire body before paint with POR's rust preventative stuff. Not to mention a lot of guys use the rust remover all over. The stuff works great.
