    Oil change

I just recently changed my oil with 20w50. All was good untill about 20 minutes running time, the oil light pops up on the top computer. It goes on, turns off for a day. Comes on the next. Also just realized my window motors arent working or the switches arent? Possible fuse issue? Thats what I thought but all are fine. Anyone have any insight?

Check if your oil filter is on tight. Could be faulty oil pressure sender too.

Top computer? You mean the check panel above the rearview mirror? That light is linked to the oil level sender and comes on when you don't have enough oil in the oil pan. The oil light on the gauge cluster is linked to the oil pressure sender, so if this one is on, then you have low oil pressure.

        check panel

Edit: Also the oil levels are perfectly in between the two dots

As I recall, the windows and check panel don't share a fuse, so those probably aren't associated failures. If the oil level is okay the level sensor could be full of gunk and sticking. It can be removed and cleaned.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

the oil was pretty gnarly when I changed it (just bought it). What is the procedure for cleaning the sensor?

Anyways, anyone know what could be the problem with the windows?

It should be at the top dot after an oil change. That's the full mark. Sounds like you need to add another quart.

Yes, add more oil and the level sensor will likely turn off (don't over fill though, obviously).

For some reason I thought you meant the oil pressure warning light.

Check to make sure you haven't accidentally hit the switch to lock the windows, which would make the window switches not work. One window lock switch is near the hazard light button, and at least on my car there is a second button just ahead of the window switches that seems to do the same thing. Very annoying, as has made me feel stupid in the past as I hunted for electrical issues.

went ahead and filled up to the second line. I am used to honda's, where you want basically in the middle of the lines. Word. Anyways I will try the window lock, but I think I already tried it. Just seems weird that it just stopped working out of the blue
