    Fuel tank question

I noticed that while taking hard right turns with more than a half tank of fuel, I could smell fuel from inside of the car. Now that I have dropped the rear end to replace the subframe bushings, I have also dropped the fuel tank to find the source of the smell. I found that that one of the hard lines (pretty sure its for the vent system) that runs across the tank from the drivers side to the passenger side was pretty rusted and it fell off of the tank. Is there any way that I could replace this without having to buy a whole new fuel tank? Anyone have any other ideas? Pictures are attached. Thanks

That hard line could be replaced, but there is enough rust damage on the tank to make that an iffy proposition, if it works at all. Best to replace tank. You have a late model tank and a brand new tank can be had for about $200 and a good used tank for about half that.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Say, where can you get a new late model tank for $200?

I had the exact same issue and took the tank to Rogers Radiator in Medford MA. For 105.00 they blasted everything, put on a new line, treated, sealed, & pressure tested it to make sure it was up to task. I had to undercoat it myself... In hindsight 200 for a brand new one is nice, but I figured I'd toss out the option since you are somewhat local.

              Hi,

I am in the process of installing a new tank in my car for me it is the best option, I would very surprised if the tank is not worse condition on the inside this was the case with mine.
