How to replace a window?

So my drivers window was busted out last week and I cannot find a decent write up on how to replace the window. All I can find is window regulator replacement but gives no decent illustration of how the window connects or sits on the regulator. I have never replaced a window so it's all new to me. Before anyone says, I don't have a Bentley, currently trying to d/l the PDF but having issues and am super tight on funds or I'd order one...hence why I'm doing this myself and trying to find a write up.

I'm a bit worried though as the replacement window has a smaller bracket on the rear of the glass than what was originally on my car. I specified it needed to be a late model window so I hope I'm not out of luck with what I have. Any help is greatly appreciated.

once you remove the door panel and take a good look inside, it should be pretty obvious how it goes it, at the front there should be a round white rotating knob sort of thing that should in the bracket at the front, i cant exactly remember for the rear. Here is a diagram that may help.
