Am I missing a window regulator?

I bought this car recently knowing that the window didn't work and now I am trying to fix it. Upon removing the door panel it appears something is missing.

Isn't that the motor? Any idea how to remove it?

        1. Remove door panel

        2. remove all trim strips at top of door

        3. remove window

        4. unbolt regulator/motor assembly.

When removing the regulator, slide bottom part of regulator out the top of the window opening so it can rotate, allowing removal from door.

I just unscrewed the motor from the guide in the door. there are four phillips head screws on the backside of the motor through a plate holding it to the guide channel.

No need to remove the glass or channel that way. But you do have to be pretty good with your hands in tight and backwards spaces. lol They are also pretty tightly threaded in.
