How much fuel line do I need to do a refresh job?

    E30 318is

Who has done a full fuel-line refresh job on their E30?

I know the sizes I need are 1/4" ID and 5/16" ID.

I would rather not take my fuel lines apart, measure, tally, and then run to the hose store covered in gasoline and grease. Can someone give me a ballpark on how much of each I need to do a full refresh?

    cheers,

I think about 4' of high pressure hose and 4' of low pressure hose worked the last time I redid a fuel system. All of the hoses that carry fuel (at least on a 325) are 5/16". Some of the vent hoses are 1/4"

You must use hose rated for fuel injection service for the high pressure side of the fuel system. You can use ordinary fuel hose for the low pressure side and save a bit of coin since fuel injection rated hose is about $6/foot.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
