    O2 Sensor

I'm replacing my sensor, just ordered the new one. Anyone have much experience with replacing this? Is it difficult? Hopefully my bentley can help.

Also, my gauge for engine temp in the cluster has been dead sicne i got the car, and randomly flickers for a second once in a blue moon. what is it i need to replace so that this works correctly; a thermostat?

    Thanks, chase

p.s. fuel pump install next week along with sensor and new engine mount.

Rent the sensor tool free from autozone, you can change it in five minutes.

this may help with the O2 sensor

as for the temp gauge, take out the cluster and make sure the nut behind the gauge isnt loose. that may not fix it, but its worth trying

Check for bad temp. sender, that brown one on thermostat housing, or it could be a screw loose behind the gauge which I heard causes to give bad signal because ground is loose.

Changing O2 sensor is piece of cake. Remove bracket, disconnect wiring, and just go down to any local parts store, and get that special tool, forgot the name of it, and that would make it lot easier to get it unbolt the sensor.
