    Jim C. Chip

Sorry if this has been asked before but i have a question about the Jim C. chip for the eta. I know it makes +- 25 hp at peak power, but what about the rest of the powerband? Does it make a difference in other areas? Also, with these chips, does it only affect wide open throttle, or partial as well? Basically what I want to know is if the chip makes a difference under all driving conditions or just when you're going all out. Thanks.

All other areas, all throttle openings, big difference in overal driveability.

Check out MarkD's chips too, they're typically favoured a bit over the JimC programming, and cost less too.

As already said, I'd also strongly recommend MarkD's chips. I have had mine for about 7 - 8 months now and I couldn't be happier with it! Fantastic improvements everywhere!

I have a JC chip in my eta.

It affects all areas. I have not dynoed the car so I don't know the true to life hp claims.

The biggest difference can be felt above 2500 rpm but there is a noticable differeance all across the board. Being able to rev past 4500 is a definate plus.

I have nothing bad to say about my chip espically at the price I got it for.

        Sold it.
