So, i bought this '86 325es, and i'm very happy with it. It has a very strong, original low mileage engine and a straight body with a clean interior, and just about all the original goodies. Hooray.
Anyway, i think i have an electrical problem with my foglights. When I got the car the driver's bulb was out (or so i thought). So i just bought two new ones and put them both in figuring i was safe on both sides for a while. But one night when i decided to try them out, as soon as i pushed the switch, my whole car just died. I was coasting like a ghost. The car restarted fine, and everything came back, but now the passenger's bulb is out, and the driver's works. Do i have a bad ground, or what, and how can i fix?
btw, after inspecting the original bulbs, it seems both were fine anway, making me feel especially ignorant.
