Hood latch cable route through engine bay

My car came without the cable (probably broke) and I'm trying to route a new one. I can't find where it enters the engine bay or the hole where it leaves the cable.

I know where the mechanism is to unlatch the hood but do I have to remove the headlight or radiator to attach me new cable? After reviewing it, it seems that way.

Does anyone have pics that would show it? Thanks in advance.

You should be able to replace the latch mechanism buy removing the grill. It slides out to the side or from the side of the little lump it sits inside. The cable runs along the drivers fender and there is a gromet for to go through. Though when you run the cable start from inside the car. Its super easy to see where is goes Ive had to replace three of them.
