    passenger door will not unlock!!

searched, no dice.. my car is apparently not accepting passengers at the moment..
ok, so like the title says, I can't turn the key when I try to unlock it from the outside, nor can I pull up the lock indicator thingy (I can't remember the name) from the inside.. and when I try to just open the door from the inside, the handle can be pulled ever so slightly before resisting..
I haven't tried to rambo it yet, but I thought I would check on here before I break something...

I live in sunny San Diego, so I doubt it's frozen

ok, so I figured out how to at least open the passenger door, even though it stays locked.. I put the key in from the outside and turn it about 1/8 turn clockwise until it stops and open the door with the handle.. however it still stays locked and the door will not open from the inside... is there an adjuster inside?
at least I can get the door open now to take off the door card if I need to..

    bueller? anyone?

The actuator could be burnt up, keeping the lock from opening. There could be something out of position blocking the linkage from moving.

Only way to tell, take off the door panel and see what's happening in there.
