    ETK question door lock cylinder

I ordered a drivers side lock cylinder repair kit from the dealer. After taking out my old lock its obvious that they gave me the wrong part. The PN of the part the dealer gave me was 51 21 9 556 313. If someone could check and tell me what exactly I got from them(what side and central locking or not) I would be very grateful. I would check myself, but I'm home for break and my computer is at school.

    Thats a non-central locking and/or passenger's side one. You need 51 21 9 061 343.

Figures, that was the part number I brought to the dealer and gave the guy. He came back and told me that he found a different number. So it will work for the passenger side for sure?

I ended up just putting the one they gave me together and using it to replace my passenger side lock. I ordered the correct one from the dealer, and should have it by Thursday.

Kind of off topic, but i need to replace my passenger side door lock cylinder because some jackass broke in with a flat head screwdriver. Is the repair kit what i need to fix the cylinder? It's about $42 from the dealer.

          Thanks.

The repair kit comes with everything you need to make a new coded lock cylinder for your car. It isn't really a repair kit per say, as you don't use any part of your existing lock cylinder.
