    95 M3 Steering Rack

So I found a great deal on a 95 M3 rack. The only thing wrong with it is the passenger side tie rod is no good, but using it on an e30 I use the e30 tie rods correct?

You can use e30 tie rods or use e36 tie rods. According to Zionsville, the e36 ones are better because they allow for the use of wider wheels.

I don't know exactly. I'm just telling you what the Zionsville cd said.

          Its shit then!

Anyway the M3 rack has stop points for wider wheels so they dont rub in the arches.

If you go with an e36 m3 rack it needs to be from a 95 only. If will fit but there is modifaction needed. I would try to get an e30 m3 rack, but if you find one out of a 95 at a good price buy it. I did the 95 in mine and I am happy with it, but it took a while to do. If you end up going that route let me know and I can give you a few pieces of advice.

The swap is not very hard on a non-airbag car. I put an e36 m3 rack into my car.

It is different though with an airbag car. I don't know the exact procedure.
