    To all you M42 guys

When I swap the new M42 into my sold car, what parts should I update/replace? I'm an M20 guy, so these lil four bangers aren't familiar to me.

What I've come up with from reading and whatnot:
    Profile gasket
    Tensioner
    Water pump
    clutch (specifically what parts?)
    oil pan gasket

If there's things I've missed, let me know. I want this to go in smoothly and clean and be a nice reliable runner for my buyer.

Do the valve cover gaskets and the front crank seal. They always leak.

The head has to come off to do the profile gaseket, so I'd hold off unless he's paying for this shit.

Common sense- It's the new 'gifted'

Well, read my other post - he's paying for parts, I'm paying for labor - as in I'm doing it ;)

I just want to get as much done to it now as I can before stuffing it in the engine bay. I've got the valve cover gaskets listed. Front crank seal I'll put on there - I believe Bav sells two kits with all the gaskets - one for top end, one for bottom end. I may as well just grab the two sets and replace what I can - the profile gasket and headgasket will wait I suppose.
