    AC Compressor leaking

well r3v. i find out im leaking some fluid a few days ago. it looks like coolant but upon closer inspection it appears to be the UV dye from the AC system. for the record i am r134a converted. it has been converted since 1997, so says my r134a sticker.

    looked like this

i get underneath the car, removed the splash guard full of gunk and UV dye and i seed this bracket underneath the AC compressor is green.

closer pic on the compressor itself (click below) and it appears some green is coming out of the seal.

prior to all this, i had really nice coool frozen AC.
the next day, my fears were confirmed it appeared. my AC no longer blasts cool air. only ambient air :(

    questions for r3v.
can i just get away with replacing the compressor/belt?
or will i need to replace other components like the drier and recharge it as well?

ive never done anything like this before on any car so how would this job fare?

You should first try to pull a vacuum on it for an hour. It solved the leak on BOTH my cars.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

interesting. i just researched on how to do that and looks like ill have to rent the tool or actually have to go a shop or AC shop to do it for me.
