    Hard start...calling jlevie

My m20 has been exhibiting hard starts every time I start it. Hot, warm, cold...it takes a good 20-30 seconds and a few tries to fire up.

    I've tried the following:
New injectors (thought they might be leaking)
    New-ish fuel pump
    New fuel filter
    Cleaned icv
    Checked tps
    New plugs,wires,coil,battery
Checked fpr ( sucked on vacuum line)
    New valve cover gasket
    Checked for intake leaks

Whatbto check next? Is there a way to test the check valve in the pump?

I'd check/replace the CPS. Also, see if it's easier to start with the throttle wide open. The red car starts right up with the pedal down and I haven't cared enough to look into it. (It's my backup car/parts store runner.)

This would indicate abflooding condition then? With WOT leaning it Out?

Presumably. Or WOT just providing enough airflow to clear out the cylinders.

That's separate from the CPS, though. Test that first because it can really screw you up in all kinds of ways.
