    Wiring Dilema! Foot well splices

So i have had several things stop working on the car over the past couple years, but never had time to go through it, anyway along my wiring travels i found this while i had it on the lift at work :(
shot from under the drivers footwell (notice the green fuzzy shit on the harness)

Now i am assuming that all the reds were spliced together at the crusty green bit, but im not sure of the gray and whites.

Does anyone know how its supposed to be?

Ah the northeast, love it. Dealt with this exact problem on an E30 already.

Got a list handy of what works and what doesn't? I can probably let you know how many red wires were spliced together, how may gray, etc. that way you know you got them all.

lights mostly, f+r park lamps, interior lights, ash tray lights, ect. some of which didnt work when i bought the car. I attributed this to the hack install of a python alarm and old school radar detector. i cut back the wires about 3-4 inches and they're dust. im probably going to swap in a spare harness soon when i fix that rust, along with some other spots. but for now i would like to have my tail light back so i stop getting pulled over.

That stuff would be the gray/white wires, there are four of those at S209. Does any of the crap that is on fuse 21 work? That big one looks like it might be S319, with 9 Red/Green wires.

that would be it, Thanks alot man. My parking lights work again, but i think some of the rd/gn wires are to far corroded to work right, nothing on fuse 21 works except the cluster lights.

Thanks for the input though. And yes gotta love the North East! just patched up a hole in my rear wheel well. now this! gotta get it done before the snow flies, while trying to drop a fresh motor in my IX and sourcing an m50 swap for this guy
