I have the same issue, my left works fine, but the right blinks faster. Bulbs work fine.

Same issue, when it's hot outside my right indicator blinks very fast, however I discovered that when this occurs the actual light does not work. Ideas?

theres a short somewhere, one of your turn signals is burnt out, or you reversed your leads.

I would start by checking your lamps, then check your ground wires, if you find you have a weak ground at the turn signal indicator you might check your ground wire for corrosion, if that's the case you will need to splice in a new wire. Also check your socket. If the socket is the problem, you'll most likely have to replce it. If your car has the aluminum bumpers you'll have to remove the bumper to replace the socket/housing. I have a '87 and had the same problem, I found the ground wire to be faulty so I replaced the wire and still had intermitent operation. I then found the socket was at fault. I didn't want to remove the bumper since the car has Chicago miles, so I just replaced the socket with the black turn signal housing still in the car. I removed the amber lens and bulb, used a heat gun on the black housing (heat the black part from the back side of the bumper) and push the tan socket out with a socket/extension from the front. Installation; heat the black housing, put some WD40 on the rubber ring and poush the new tan socket in from the rear. If your socket (wiring harness) is bad you can get some crimp connectors and solder them in place, use heat shrink. The crimp connectors are a little hard to find, they are smaller then the standard size. Good luck with repair.

Well it fixed it self I love the sometime !

But what i was thinking it happed when we had the heavy rain storm around here and think water got into the socket .....in time i well take a look into !

              Thanks

I have that same problem now with all good bulbs. I'm pretty sure it will end up being a socket cause they are all looking pretty crappy.

Turn signal stalks get worn with time and can't quite make the full connection. I'm pretty sure that's what's going on in a few posts here..
