I'm installing a water/alchohol injection system this weekend. Need to make sure the switched power to the system is only on when the engine is running.
If you set it up to have key on +12v then the pump would be misting the intake if you were sitting with the radio on or any other reason why you would have the key in and on. This could create a potential hydrolocking risk if you left it on for like 10 minutes.
With luck this will cure my pinging problems and allow me to actually advance my timing and unlock the engines full potential.
Right now I'm running a full -8º timing across alot of the power band to stop the excessive pinging. I'd like to actually advance the timing past 0º.
Back when I was getting the UniChip installed and tuned the guys said I should expect another 20hp/tq if I can run optimal advancing timing curves.

Good call on water injection, Jordan I bet you will find a 50/50 mix of water and methanol to be ideal. Did you install a knock sensor? I would wanna use 2 seperate triggers myself...1 on a "normal flow", like off of a vacuum switch for less than WOT use, then a higher flow triggered by a knock sensor or a microswitch for use at WOT.

Fuse holder #16 in the fuse block is on only when key is in run position. Used this one for my parking lights so there keyed power like they should be. Other than that there are not too many easily accessible places, the fuel pump relay might be preferred because its powered only when the engine is running. Good luck with that car, its lookin excellent!
Most of it lol. . But ether way I hope the liquid injection lets you get the timing up where you want it, keep us updated on dyno and drivability results.
