    Need your help! No crank!!

I just installed a subwoofer and amp into my e30..

Im very tech/car-audio savvy and know what i am doing. However after completing the install, my car wont crank.. I turn the key and... nothing.

    Radio and everything still works.

My car: 1989 325i sedan Auto.

I've check the neutral safety switch wiring, everything looks good there. I dont even get a little peep out of the starter.. Is there some main fuse or relay to check out? I also checked out the fusable link from the positive line from the battery and that was still good. Any suggestions? anything would be greatly appreciated!

my car is stuck in the middle of the driveway... lol

    EDIT:

I checked the starter, i am getting 12v to it. I also tried tapping it with my prybar while trying to crank to no avail....

how does this happen when all i did was adding in an amp and sub?

.. i had the battery disconnected for a while during the install... maybe disconnect and reconnect? Im going to try it.

going through my repair manual.. it seems that i might have bad connections from the battery, im starting there.

okay so i double checked my connections on the battery, cleaned terminals (were pretty clean to start) and reconnected.

i still have the same problem..

first post i stated that i checked the neutral safety switch. I put it in Park, Neutral, etc.. won't crank. its dark, im hungry, and im having a bitch of a time trying to figure out whats going on..

I just UNDID the entire install of the sub and amp to no avail...

double checked the fusible link in the trunk - good. WTF

on a second note, i don't hear the starter's solenoid clicking while im trying to crank, could my starter be bad? i tested it and have 12v to it.

silly me, i didnt check the fuses with a test light, totally should have, anyways the one that shares with the instrument cluster was out.. lucky me.

oh yeah, i checked the operation of the starter by jumping pins 11 & 14 on the diagnostic port (20 pin) in the engine bay.

if the solenoid doesn't click then you still don't know if the starter is good or bad cuz it's not engaging. meaning no juice to the solenoid or the solenoid went bad. if it had clicked and then nothing then you start looking at the starter rather than the solenoid.
