I had a spot weld broken on the trunk hinge and it let in ridiculous amounts of water.

Well I have a receipt for them being replaced a year and a half ago. Though it may only be one side, I will check the receipt.

Either way, I couldn't even find where the rear sunroof drains were!

I had the same problem and it was none of those things.

It's the drain for the rear windshield. You can see how it drains by removing the rear shelf(that the rear speakers sit in). That is probably clogged and overflowing.
Again wrong. I had standing water in my trunk. First I inspected the drains, nothing, clean as can be with no leaks. Then the C pillar trim and antenna grommet, still nothing. Finally after much dismissal, I tried the taillight gaskets. They didn't look very worn but to my surprise it completely fixed the issue.

    ^ thanks.

Lol my car I bought with a 95% dry trunk :)

I saw that rubber tube that is pretty long that hooks into that plastic bracket thing. it was fine.

Tail light seals were supposedly done a year and half ago. I pulled the tail light cover that side, totally dry. So yeah

Remember I am talking like 3 inches of water here. The antenna grommet is kind of lose, but it cant be THAT lose.

Ya thats a possibility too but late model tail lights have much better gaskets so its not as common of a problem. Good catch though. (wheres my lift stick? lol)

    Trunk Jack Area Under Water

The other day I noticed lots of water in my trunk's jack area! Well today in attempt to fix my sunroof (the elephant drain was so dirty!!!) I sucked out all the water and pulled that corner's carpet back.

I couldn't fidn the source! I looked hard but could think of nothing. I searched on the interwebz but could really find anything...

    so any ideas??
Working...
