      Yeah but HOW did you fix it? These threads are (or may be) useful to those who follow you only to the extent that they describe what was done to overcome the original failure. When I search for cluster problems, this thread shows up but now that you have edited even the original post to show... NOTHING it is worse than nothing because it wastes my time reading... nothing!

          what happened was a gas gauge did not work in another car. ended up just getting a different gas gauge.
