    rear end weird sounds..

I can't really explain or describe the sound it's making but its almost sound like metal to metal that is being compressed.. Prominent during the mornings it's like cold related and when I drive on uneven pavement like driving up our driveway.. and just today that the weather is more colder the sound.. I would say more aggressive.. I'm a lil concerned... Anyone knows what this might be?? Thanks!!

Brakes, wheel bearings... it could be so many things. I'm afraid you are going to have to get in there and investigate before any of us can even hope to assist you.

With a description like that what couldn't it be?

How about some more useful adjectives.

Does it make a grinding sound? A hum? A rattle? A clunk?

Does it sound like you're butchering kittens?

You say it happens more when cold?

Does it happen more when turning? If so which direction?

Does it happen more under acceleration? Or when you release the throttle?

Do you know the age of the various components of the rear end? The subframe bushings, wheel bearings shock mounts, guibo (makes noise
come from rear) centre bearing diff mount bushing?

Rear diff is going out or maybe just the LSD

Could be cv joints. These make a thumping or banging noise under accel/decel.
