Window's won't work, is there a window lock switch?

I am in the process of cleaning my interior and I had to unplug all of the switches in the center console. I put my switches back on but none of the window switches work. I have an e30 sedan and the switches on the rear doors do not work also. There are two black switches in the front of the four windows switches that I have no idea what they operate. One is square on the left and one is rectangle on the right. Can someone tell me what these two buttons do? Can one of these be a window lock switch?

On my coupe the rectangle button on the right in front of the window switches is a circuit breaker.

What would the square button be? Both of my buttons seem to be wore down...

Not sure, i don't have one. When the circuit breaker is off(up) the exposed sides of the button are red.

Nice, so I have a coupe and have a window lock on the dash next to the hazards and such above the radio, so this would prevent me from throwing the passenger out or vice versa, but it is inches from the switches, I would think its unnecessary.

If it was working before disassembly and is no longer, have you reconnected all six switches? I know they won't work without the circuit breaker in the circuit. I can''t remember if the cut-out switch is required for operation.

                  Check fuses again.

If none work, it is not likely to be a switch. The rectangular circuit breaker switch must be in the 'pushed in' position (so the red band is not showing).

My switch was very stubborn. I didn't even know the purpose of that switch the last time I was in the car and tried to fix my windows so I'll know now to get it in the down position.
