As most of you know, the e30's temp gauge likes to wave at you. Not only is it innacurate when it's broken, even when the m8 nut on the back of the gauge is tightened, the gauge isn't accurate as it is a "dummy" gauge, much like the oil pressure light. I was thinking about replacing the stock with a more efficient aftermarket gauge in the OEM location. Anyone ever try this and know what gauge size would work best?
