A/C fan blows while car is off!

My A/C system operates if the car is on or off. I could go outside right now and turn the fan switch and/or snowflake button and the fan would work and the button would light up, without the key in the ignition. I dont want to forget one day and drain the battery, does anyone have an idea what may be causing this?

I have an 88 325 with an M50TU swap, JIC.

I did the wiring. I thought that as well, but it didnt do it directly after the swap. It happened more recently.

If the compressor clutch locked up, why would that power the fan as well?

Bump, any ideas, maybe a stuck relay?

I looked at the wiring diagrams and none have mention of the A/C system?

I'd definitely consider a stuck relay. Pull out your Bentley and see "what's up with that".
