    Convertible vent window replacement

I recently discovered that my passenger side "vent" window is plastic. Appears the car may have been vandalized in its past and repaired with plastic. Is there an easy way to remove the vent "plastic" window to replace it with real glass?

Most likely so, if it had been repaired with plastic then it could be done with glass. PO probably could not find the part and used plexi. You could find a donor door and start wrenching. GL

you will have to remove the inner door panel; peel the liner back; remove the front track where the quarter glass meets the main window. remove the speaker cover - not sure about the mirror. Might also need to remove the outer chrome trim and inner weather strip.

thanks Ceeker. I figured there must be a way to do this right. will glass or in my case plastic be attached to frame? does whole frame remove?
