    Strange power window issue

    Late model 318i:

    1. Repeatedly pops fuse 17 (30A) during window operation.
    2. It doesn't matter which of 4 windows is being used, fuse 17 pops.
    3. Window breaker (25A) does not pop.

After looking at the ETM the above set of symptoms seem unlikely. Anyone?

Certainly doesn't seem likely, but the thing is an old car so I'm gonna guess creative wiring.

Low hanging (easy to check) fruit is the window circuit breaker. make sure the fuse is good an the switches are all lit, the pop out the breaker from the dash and unplug it. The lights all go out?

Need some help figuring out the ETM?

Looked the switch and breaker wiring over today and didn't see any shenanigans. I think I may be getting bad info from the driver. There's gotta be an issue with one of the window's switches/wiring/motor and somehow the breaker is not popping like it should, idk.
