    What does this button do?

the rectangular button to the right of the window defroster button in the middle of the dash just below the vents...

The only thing it does so far is kill my ability to operate sunroof and windows when it's pressed and had the red showing...is this even right?

Note: NOT my hazard button btw

When my brother first got his e30 we were working on almost every part of the car and somehow that breaker blew. Its in the bentley, but it doesn't tell you where. Being a mechanic i looked in the fuse panel, in the trunk with the battery, by the alternator(out of frustration). Finally after following the wires up to the breaker it finally dawned on me that bmw put within arms reach. i don't know if it used to have some type of mark on it or what, i thought it must have been a switch for some type of optional equipment. Come to think of it i might have tripped it by pushing on it because i didn't know what it was. eventually we figured it out and had a really good laugh. Freakin thing was staring us in the face the whole time. i love bmw's

It can also be used to keep occupants from using the windows, I've pulled shenanigans with it, and the OBC stalk button. The kids thought i had mind control over my car, then mad laughter when i revealed my secret.
