Sensor(?) was hanging down under right front corner, behind the valance. Looks to be connected to a plug on the factory harness, but it could have been wired in by a po for all I know.

This is where it was plugged in, and you can see the wires join the harness running across the front of the car:

    The sensor has the text:
    20PS 1000-001
    P6T
    Texas Instruments

    and looks like this:

I dug through realoem for quite some time trying to find it, but didn't have any luck.
    Any ideas?

PS, ignore the terrible hacked wiring. I am in the process of undoing all of the shoddy repairs of previous po's, including lots of wiring repairs. I have a page long list of little terminals, plugs, and other bits coming from the dealer. I just can't figure out this sensor.

Should I assume from the lack of response that it isn't a part other people have and is likely aftermarket?

AC sensor sounds reasonable. The car's ac is completely fubar'd, so I will check to confirm if that is in fact what it is for, and then figure out a way to cap off and preserve that connector so I can repair it someday.

Do yourself a favor and go get a different dryer from a scrapyard, its gonna be a bitch to get the broken end of that sensor out of yours.

That's your high pressure switch for the AC system. It usually plugs into the dryer.

That's the original/ older switch. They are no longer sold
