    Coolant Light Question

My coolant warning light comes on every time that I have been driving for a while, and have reached running temp (right in the middle of the temp gauge). My coolant level was a bit low, but I filled it up a while ago, yet it still comes on. Also I was changing my spark plugs, and my old ones were white on the electrodes, which tells that the engine is running too hot. Does the coolant warning light mean anything other than coolant level, and is there something perhaps wrong with my cooling system? (radiator replaced last year).

The light simply means the coolant level is low. If the coolant level is fine then the sender may be dirty. Try removing it and cleaning it with a toothbrush to see if it fixes the problem. If it doesn't then you may have a break in your wiring or the sender may just need to be replaced.
