HELP!!!!!!!! My m42 is crazy

Well the story is my cat was gutted when i bought the car and it was only tacked on so it sounded like crap. So i went to this guy's shop and took off my cat. I decided to put a pipe through it cause it was already hollow. Well everything went fine till i started the car again. Now my check engine light is on and when i push in the clutch the car turns off!!!!!!!!!! The car sounds barely louder and a little deeper but TONS better. My engine is chipped but I don't think thats it cause the cat was hollow before. What could it be? The icv, o2 sensor....?!?!?!? Now i do need a new gasket for the headers to cat pipe, but i made one and it leaks just a little. When the cat was tacked it leaked a lot more.

I had a problem like that and it turned out to be a loose vacuum line.

i'll check that. I just don't see how somthin would have got unplugged or come off. I hope the hose is it. I have not even had my car one week yet. :(

Ohh also do you have a diagram showing vacume hoses :)

Could it be my spark plugs?

yep it was the vacume hoses... all of them :evil:
