    Cluster F*cked...

    Derps,

When I turn my key on, my temp gauge goes all the way to red. even with the plug disconnected. I'm assuming my SI board is bad?

Anyone ever have this issue? it's a 318is with a motometer

Just wanted to check here before going to the yard and buying a couple clusters.

it grounds on the screw. If you don't have a good ground the voltage will appear to be higher and the gauge will read higher. same thing with the gas gauge.

That behavior of the gauge can mean that there is a short in the sensor or in the wiring from the cluster to the sensor.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
