    What Books to buy for e30 maintenance/tuning

    Hey, New to the BMW world - actually still shopping for my first e30. Coming from the VW world I know that the Bentley Manual is a MUST - but what other books are there that can make my understanding of these cars more complete. Or can help me dream about the upgrades I'll do once I actually get one?

      haynes maybe, or chiltons....I got the 101 projects from pelican, its pretty good

                      The Bentley manual is the only one worth buying and is rather good.
                      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                          spend some money at kinkos or printer ink and get yourself a wiring diagram PDF

                          that and Bentley is pretty much all you need.

                                  BMW E30-3 Series Restoration Bible by Andrew Everett is another useful book as well.
