    Fuel Injector question

I am down 2 fuel injectors right now for my Eta and I need to buy some new injectors, I called Patrick at BMA and I checked a few other places for a pt number and I cross referenced it and they at 26# injectors. Is this right? The pt numb is 0 280 150 126 I was going to get some 19# mustang injectors before I found out that they were 26#'s. What should I do?

Sell your car and buy a mustang.

Or use the search to find out that ETAs use low indepenance injectors and 'i engines use high imdepance ones making those 19lbs ones useless to you.

You will instantly fry your DME if you run the wrong impedence injectors.

It wont be 26lbs. Even 325i injectors are 14.5# @ 3.0 bar. If you want to upgrade then you need a set of low impedance from say an m30 powered 3.2 liter motor. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can use them from a 533/633/733 motor, and they flow more.

                  those values are correct

                  "e" injector 0 280 126 is 18.2lbs@43.5psi = 16.6 lbs@36.25 psi

I was giving him a 43.5psi rating so he can source some.Since most sellers use the 3 bar not 2.5 bar rating as found on etas. or he can use 17lbs @38psi.......its just different rating for the same injector dependant on pressure.
