    I hope you are kidding.

    On the bosch alternator for the E30, the voltage regulator also houses the brushes. They can be removed by using a soldering iron. They maybe not actually part of the voltage regulators purpose but by saying they are not part of the regulator you are going to confuse people

      just had a problem with my car not starting but it was just a dead battery so i threw in a new one and off i went can't really complain since that was it, oh well. i still love my new e30
