    Starter won't crank

    I have a starter issue.

If I turn the key, nothing happens. Not even a click. Battery is good.

I can bump start the car, drive it around, park it, and maybe start it a few times - on, off, on, off, but eventually the problem returns.

What do you guys think? Bad solenoid? Bad brushes? I am leaning towards needing a new starter, or do you think its something else?

Did you by any chance put a meter on the starter and see if you get 12v there when you turn the key?
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

Hillbilly starter diagnosis 101: smack it with a hammer while a friend holds the key in start position. If it does something you probably just need a starter, if it doesn't check for voltage.
