    Programa E30 SI Board

I have been looking to replace my '88 325i SI board. Programa sells a replacement board (part # 62-11-9-070-793), but this board has two short lithium batteries instead of NiCd. Their website says this board is interchangeable with OEM. My guess is that these lithium batteries are the standard non-rechargeable types. Am I correct because the rechargeable lithium batteries will not work with NiCd charger? Have any of you purchased this board from Programa?

    Thanks.

I got one for $110...wish I had posted here earlier, but my temp gauge was staying near red at all time. I just had to make sure that my engine was not overheated. I just got off the phone with Programa and they told me the new batteries are standard non-rechargeable lithium so they are comparable with my car. Thanks for the offer though. BTW, how much would you charge for the one with NiCd batteries?

Yikes 110. I usually sell them for 65 shipped. I never knew they had non rechargeable batteries in those. My battery guy builds them to spec. What year and model is the si board from?

              Hello everyone,
I just wanted to clear up the Battery question. The S.I. Board which is our part #101 is charged by the cars alternator just like your cars battery.

This part played a big role in building our business into what it is today. If anyone has any questions about any of our products, need something repaired or if you have any cores you would like to get rid of we need them and pay cash.
