    quick heat issue

Coolant is bled, new t stat, new wpump.

Heat only works when its warm out. All hoses are hot but inlet/outlet heater core hoses.

    Coolant is all new.

There was no debris in the coolant when i drained it. Before I go to town on the core, is there any options if its the valve vs the core?

Are you sure the heater core hoses aren't backwards?

Bleed it again with the car jacked up in the front and with the heat on in the car.

Pretty sure, never touched them. P/o said heat worked but never tried it until after I replaced a wpump.

I did bleed it for a good half hour jacked up front with the heat on massaging the hoses and bleeder screw open

Your heater core is likely plugged. Disconnect the heater hose and use a garden hose to flush the core...see if you can get any water through it.

is there a way I can block the coolant so I do not have to rebleed the system?

And if the core was plugged, wouldn't the hoses be hot anyways

Edit: rechecked heater hoses, they are warm but not boiling hot like upper/lower rad hoses
