Hardtop Mounting Help Needed - Missing Parts

So I bought an E30 factory hardtop last night. :-) The front latches on securely, and I have removed the rear plugs where I understand the top would normally lock down -- but there is no pin or bolt provision on the hardtop to lock it down. The previous owner must have removed/lost these.

I looked into the retrofit kit from BMW, and it is no longer available. Can anyone help? Is there a common thread pitch bolt that I can use?

    Any help appreciated.

I already checked - no luck. They sell the mounting provision that goes to the body of the car, but what I am missing is the bolt/pin from the top itself.

Note the bolts sticking up from either side of the rear window in this pic. My top is missign those.

      Apparently 54 21 1 976 239 is the PN for the retrofit kit. And 54 21 1 972 681 and 54 21 1 972 683 are the PNs for the locks.

Does anyone know if the retrofit kit contains the locks? Or is the retrofit kit just for the reciever end?

Problem solved. Both the retrofit kit and locks are available special order through BMW. I ordered mine from Patrick at BMA.

Here is a pic of the parts diagram in case anyone ever needs to search and look this info up like I did. In my case, I needed the locks, not the retrofit kit.

I thought you said you ordered them from BMA?

We weren't sure if they were still available. As it turns out, they are. So I am all set.
