    door heater

So for the life of me couldn't figure out why my battery was draining until I went to open my cabrio door - nearly burned my hand off. lol. apparently the heater element was staying on. Man....., on a hot day not something you want to touch. :-)

I removed it and replaced it with a good one, thinking maybe it was faulty wiring and also replaced the micro switch in the door. the same thing was happening...I know, why not just omit the damned thing..yes, easily doable and for now, it is what I did. I disconnected it.

anyone know what could be the problem?

    thank you.
