no heater!

I can't use the search feature on my phone and my google results aren't helping me at all, so my heater doesn't work period,I can't find the fuse locations,and I want to find thoose before I replace the damn blower motor,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fuse is under the hood on the driver side near the firewall. Not sure on the number at the moment, but I would get a test light and check them all, replace as needed.


If its not your fuse, you can check the resister on the blower motor. It slides under the motor.

better hope its not the blower motor. does it blow anything on any settings?

people say the blower motor is easy, it is....after you your first one. so it will suck.

Blower motor took me 15 minutes without even removing my strut bar.

mine blows hot air but makes a horrible racket so I don't go above 1.
can I do anything about that or do I have to replace the whole unit?

replace the whole unit, I doubt they sell just the cage

Oh OK,so the engine bay fuse box has a blower motor fuse?I saw on a different forum I found threw Google and it said fuse 75 or 76 in the glove box but all I find is the ecu.
my heater does not work at all on any setting.
If I want to replace the blower motor who is a reliable source to buy a new one from?

OK,so I found fuse #20-a/c and heater motor fuse 30amp blown,so I replaced it,turned on my heater to hot then to level four and the fuse blew again and my cars power went out then came back on.
So where do I go from here?

Check for shorts in the wiring (hint, disconnect the blower & resistor and see if a smaller fuse blows) first. If that fuse doesn't blow, replace the resistor if shorted or the blower.

OK,sweet,I haven't removed the blower access panel,what nuts hold it in?the plastic butterfly nuts or the smaller hex heads?I'm not with my car is why Im asking.

I would replace any of the fuses related to the heat/cooling system: 3, 18, 19, 20
However, Fuse 20 is the one that you should replace for sure.

I recently replaced all of my fuses and I was able to get rid of some electrical gremlins in the process. Hope this helps.
